The Cat Canyon vineyard provides the backbone for the Santa Barbara Wine Company Chardonnay. Cat Canyon is located in the Los Alamos subregion of Santa Barbara County, whose temperatures are cooler than Santa Ynez, to the south.

The vineyard’s cool climate, combined with our sustainable farming practices, produce consistently vibrant, outstanding Chardonnays driven by bright fruit characteristics. The 2008 Chardonnay was aged in a combination of new oak, neutral oak, and stainless steel.
