Tasting Notes: This refreshing style Chardonnay showcases citrus and lemon zest aromas, followed by a polished mouthful of stone fruit and a lively acidity. Our Chardonnay is ideal for poultry, seafood or simply dining al fresco.

The Cat Canyon vineyard provides the backbone for the Santa Barbara Collection Chardonnay. Cat Canyon is located in the Los Alamos subregion of Santa Barbara County, where temperatures are cooler than Santa Ynez, which lies to the south.

The vineyard’s cool climate, combined with our sustainable farming practices, allows us to produce consistently vibrant, outstanding Chardonnays driven by bright fruit characteristics. Our 2008 Chardonnay was aged in a combination of new oak, neutral oak, and stainless steel containers.
